Designing and implementing this overhaul of the user interface required a considerable amount of research, data analysis, interaction design, and visual design. I put together a four minute video that was presented to the senior Autodesk executive staff last month. It briefly describes some of the design methods that we used while integrating the ribbon into the three Revit products.
